For as long as I can remember, my life has revolved around Disney.
Naturally, now that I am a new mom to a little girl — I couldn’t wait to shower her with my love of Mickey, Minnie and the rest of the gang. Until recently, it’s been hard to find age appropriate gear and wear for our first trip to Disney World.
My sister let me in on a little secret called DisneyBaby.com
I received a few items from the Disney Baby collection (courtesy of my sister), including a baby bodysuit from their new clothing line that I totally love! I have washed the onesies at least 3 times already and there has been little to no shrinkage so far. The bottom of the onesie has two sets of snaps that allow my daughter to grow, which means I won’t have to immediately buy the next size up. Plus, I can’t get over how cute the designs are!! I’m head over heels for both The Little Mermaid and Disney Princess set.
My daughter’s favorite new toy is the Winnie the Pooh organic cotton plush. She’s at that age where everything goes in her mouth — especially if it’s a cute plush that has ears and a nose to chew on! Winnie the Pooh is the perfct size for her, and he’s soft enough for her to snuggle, plus he jingles when she shakes him, which she really likes. I love the toy because it makes her happy, and more importanty, is baby-safe and meant for her age group.
Finally, I also received a little board book — “It’s A Small World: Away We Go”. Although she can’t read yet, she enjoys sitting on her daddy’s lap, looking at the brightly colored pictures as he reads about different ways other countries travel.
I have a feeling that I will be spending a lot more time (and money!) looking for Disney-inspired baby stuff on DisneyBaby.com — which honestly, is fine by me 🙂
UPDATE: There’s now a special section of Disney Baby merchandise at DisneyStore.com! Plus, if you live in Glendale, California, the first Disney Baby Store (brick & mortar) just opened at The Americana at Brand.
