Can you believe it is October already? Halloween is just around the corner!
I love Halloween time because it is a chance to spend lots of quality family time together making themed crafts and treats.
There are tons of fun activities you can do with your toddler this Halloween that are not scary.
Here is a list of my favorite kid friendly sites that contain free printables, recipes, activities and more that you can explore with your toddler.
Also check out our new Toddler Halloween section on this site for more Halloween goodies.

A traditional activity around Halloween is pumpkin carving. Have fun this year by making this a family project you can do together with your toddler.
While your toddler won’t do the actual carving of the pumpkin let them help pick out the design and help scoop out the seeds.
I would suggest buying one of those cheap pumpkin carving kits at the grocery store that contain a little scoop and carver (which usually isn’t too sharp).
Also check out your alternatives to using votives/tealights to light up your pumpkin. You do not want your little one getting burned by their curiosity of the light. They now have battery operated lights that you usually can find cheap at Wal-Mart or Target.
Here some cute Cinderella pumpkin stencils to use if you have little girls…
