Once your toddler reaches approximately 2 years old there begins a shift in control. Your little one is starting to talk more frequently and begins to have there own unique personality. Of course this is also known as the “terrible twos”, but moms of older ones know it doesn’t stop at just 2, and tends to get worse as they grow older…unless, you take control now.

I came across an audio course that helps parents deal with the terrible twos, all the way up to beyond 6 years old. It is called Talking to your Toddler.

This is a very sad but important post for parents with babies, toddlers, and even older children. A woman I know from an online message board lost her dear son (just 2 weeks shy of turning 2) due to a tragic accident involving his dresser falling on him.

Unfortunately this accident could have been prevented if his dresser had been properly secured to the wall. I know for a lot of us moms probably have furniture that is not secure and it takes a horrible accident such as this to get things taken care of.

I urge you all to look around your house tonight to make sure all heavy furniture is properly fastened/secure to the wall. This is a very inexpensive thing to do and may save your child’s life.

It happens every year, and this year is no different than the last. My daughter always wants that hard to find toy that is sold out in the stores before Halloween, and is selling on Ebay at double the price.

Last year, it was the Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, and luckily I did get one from Toys R Us.

This year, the hottest toy for 2007 is Little Einsteins Pat Pat Rocket. Which is an exclusive of Target and Disney Shopping (or so I have been told).

I was lucky enough to get to try out the brand new Luvs with Bear Hug Stretch diapers
and my cousin (a mom of 3 little ones) also got to help me test these out.

Luvs is a brand that I always liked, but for whatever reason only bought occasionally. Since getting to try the new Luvs with the Bear Hug Stretch, I can’t believe I didn’t try these sooner, and my cousin couldn’t agree more.

The new Luvs are top quality diapers, and the new stretchy tab sides are really stretchy and solid (meaning not flimsy and easily breakable).

The fit was excellent, and this was especially true for the size 6 diapers that I tried on my 3 year old.

My cousin used these on her little babies and her toddler and said that she had no issues what so ever with leaking, and the diapers never sagged like some other brands she used in the past. These diapers are also SUPER soft, and smell really great.
