It happens every year, and this year is no different than the last. My daughter always wants that hard to find toy that is sold out in the stores before Halloween, and is selling on Ebay at double the price.
Last year, it was the Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, and luckily I did get one from Toys R Us.
This year, the hottest toy for 2007 is Little Einsteins Pat Pat Rocket. Which is an exclusive of Target and Disney Shopping (or so I have been told).
Now, I did score one of these already by stalking my local Target everyday until 1 came in stock. And by 1, I really mean they only got 1 in stock…what is up with that?
So if you even think your child may even have the slightest interest in the Little Einsteins Pat Pat Rocket, I suggest you start your search now!
This brings me to another thing. I know many moms out there are looking to make so extra money on eBay selling hot toys this holiday season. The Pat Pat Rocket is a perfect example of a toy that is already selling out on store shelves, and is selling like hotcakes on eBay.
If this is something that interests you, now is the time to get started and to start tracking down some of those hard to find toys which could make you a big profit on eBay, and maybe even pay for your families Christmas.
I urge you to check out the Holiday Toy Guide where you can learn exactly what those toys are and how to sell them for double and triple what you paid for them…even if you pay full price!

I understand that some people need to make a few extra bucks to pay for the holidays; but, I think it is really sad that they choose to do it by taking a toy that children want and selling it for twice the price. Aren’t they aware that they are not the only ones strapped for the holidays and that those of us who cannot spend day after day going to a toy store, as we have other things that are more pressing, still have children who would love the toy and are also in the same financial position they are (or worse). Don’t they get that what they are doing is making sure that only those children who have the luck of being in a family that can afford to pay extremely high prices get the toy of their dreams? I am not suggesting that people should not try to make a few extra bucks for the holidays. I am only saying that taking away a toy from a deserving child because their parents cannot afford the inflated price that you set after buying the toy that their parent may have been able to buy from the store, just to pay for your holiday, is not what the holiday spirit is really about. ????
Hi Andrea,
Thanks for your comments. I do agree with you in what you are saying, at the same time I know many moms who do earn extra money during the holiday season to pay for their children’s Christmas and I do not find anything wrong with that either. If there is anyone to blame it probably would be the toy distributors as often times they only release a limited quantity of products at a time, which in turn causes these toys to be “hard to find”.
I like to take both sides, which is why I post updates on where products can be currently be found in stock at retail price giving everyone a chance to get one for there child. As of yesterday, Pat Pat Rocket could be purchased at Target.com
